Shown in the picture above are the participants in the presentation on Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B and HIV in High-Risk Immigrant Ethnic Communities with focus on the Filipino Community. This event was only one of the workshops which was held at the Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians headquarters in Markham Ontario. This project of the Canadian Ethnocultural Council is in partnership with the Canadian Liver Foundation of Canada and funded by the Public Health Department of Canada. Presentation was facilitated by Lydia Bustamante, RN and member of MFFC. Sucy Eapen, coordinator and backbone of the CEC project provided ample support and assistance. The president of CEC, Lou Sekulovski was a special guest.
