The Philippine Consulate General is pleased to inform you that the Asian Business Management Program (ABMP) of York University in partnership with Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), is offering free short online courses under the “Career | Fit” programs:
- This opportunity is open to Asian-identifying university undergraduate students, including Filipinos, between the ages of 18 and 25 across Canada, not just those at York University.
- These are short online courses designed to supplement academic studies for currently enrolled university undergraduates. They are flexible and non-credit short programs designed to bridge from theory to practice by featuring a hands-on realistic project guided by a mentor from a major Fortune 500 company.
- Each program is usually six (6) weeks long with two-hour sessions, delivered live, online twice weekly.
- At the end of the program, participants are expected to present their capstone project.
- There is a possibility that the participant may eventually be hired by the mentor company.
