December 11, 2021 - The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians held their Annual General Meeting on December 11, 2021 via Zoom this year due to Covid-19. This is the second year the AGM has been held virtually.

Canadian Government Approves NHSP Grant for MFFC Seniors

The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC) has once again received funding from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) in the amount of $25,000. This grant will fund our 2021 project, “Seniors Staying Healthy and Connected While Keeping Safe”. The project will run from March 29, 2021to March 28, 2022. This is a huge win for the Markham-based minority organization during a pandemic whereby grants are strictly scrutinized based on its importance to make a difference in the lives of seniors and in their communities.

MFFC Holds AGM and Elects New Board Members
December 19, 2020 - The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians held their Annual General Meeting on December 19, 2020 via Zoom this year due to Covid-19. Things have been different and difficult as its members have not been able to meet face to face, but everyone who registered looked to be in high spirits as they met over video and greetings entailed.
