MFFC TO CELEBRATE 18TH ANNIVERSARY WITH DINNER DANCE

Sept 26, 2007, Markham Ontario - In what has become annual tradition the Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians will cap another successful year of operations with a celebration.  It will mark the 18th anniversary of its founding with a Dinner Dance to be held at the Thornhill Community Center on Saturday, October 13, 2007.

MFFC, FCCM AND THE YORK REGIONAL POLICE RAISED OVER $125,000 FOR LANDSLIDE DISASTER VICTIMS IN LEYTE, PHILIPPINES

March 24, 2006, Markham Ontario – We did it! The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC), in partnership with the Federation of Chinese Canadians (FCCM) and the York Regional Police surpassed its overarching goal of $100,000.00 at their fundraising dinner held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Crystal Fountain in Markham. At the end of the day, the dinner event raised a whopping $125,000.00 for the landslide victims in Leyte.

MFFC CELEBRATES 107th PHILIPPINES INDEPENDENCE DAY

June 13, 2005, Markham, Ontario - The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC) and more than 350 guests and community members celebrated the 107th Philippine National Independence Day on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at the Town of Markham Civic Centre on Warden Ave and Highway 7 East.

June 9, 2002, Markham – The Markham Federation of Filipino Canadians (MFFC) had more than enough to celebrate as local MPP David Tsubouchi announced a $69,000 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation at Independence Day ceremonies held at Markham Civic Centre today.
