Seniors Program
Program Objective:
-
To promote/maintain quality of life, self worth, mental stimulation, physical activity and link to the outside world
- To build a strong, healthy and supportive network for seniors.
What the Program offers:
- Weekly fitness and social activities - every Thursday 12 noon - 2 PM
- Exercises geared to seniors- Tai Chi- Line dancing- Lunch break- Hawaiian dancing- Parlor games on request - "Seniors in Symphony" Choir Practice - every Thursday 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
- Special Lectures on health, finances, estate planning, nutritiion and other topics of interest
- Trips to casino, plays, shows as per schedule
- Summer picnics and nature walks as per schedule
- Monthly socials to celebrate birthdays/special events with karaoke/singalongs games and dance
- Participation in special presentations in various MFFC and community events
Target Audience:
